Insurance Inspections
4-Point Insurance Inspections
A four-point inspection focuses on four critical areas in a home. If we have just completed a home inspection for you, we'll use the photos and information to complete the necessary report.
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Roof
- Electrical
Wind Mitigation Inspections
Florida law requires insurance companies to offer their customers discounts and credits for existing building features and home improvements that reduce damage and loss from wind. A wind mitigation inspection focuses on eight categories:
- Roof Covering
- Roof Deck Attachment
- Roof to Wall Attachment
- Roof Geometry
- Gable End Bracing
- Wall Construction Type
- Secondary Water Barrier
- Opening Protection
Roof Certification
A Roof Certification Inspection is an inspection performed to confirm the overall condition of the roof covering. The details are documented with photography as required. Typically, this inspection is requested by an insurance company as a prerequisite for issuing or reissuing homeowners insurance.
